Bought to mainly use indoor when the weather prevents me flying my larger helicopters just to get stuck time. Perfect!

Been flying 10 years, decent 3d skills. Don't have a close field to fly my bigger heli's. The micro's I've tried were a joke before goosky. This sucker actually holds a line, doesn't bog if you get in trouble. 74% throttle is crazy fast. Everyone should get one. Loved the S2 this last year and got the S1 for backyard no F-s given fun! Thanks Helidirect for feeding me gear.

Great for indoors flying and outdoors too, just keep it close for visibility reasons. Great for 3d practice and very economical to repair. Links to Futaba radios perfect, just select the right protocol.

I ordered and promptly received the new version of the S1 Legend paired with their T8 transmitter and the flight controller is an improvement over the older version. When flown in either stability mode or "3D" mode, the heli is much more stable and after a couple of trim flight calibrations, it will pretty much hover in place with both hands off the T8 gimbals. It also seems to fly more "fluidly" and smoothly than the prior version. This is important as my handicap makes it difficult for me to fly outside. As a result, I fly in my living room surrounded by furniture, TV, sound system and other breakables. I can maintain precise control in every direction even with the basic T8 TX.

The ESC also seems more friendly and throttle control more predictable than my prior S1. I've been flying both micro and nano helis now for years and this one is an especially refined, high quality product that is also dollar friendly!
