AK700 ANTENNA MOUNT - BLACK

Just put this on my Trex 550x, great little add on!

I don’t have any Steam helicopters, but I have these mounts on everything from Goosky, XLPower, Tron (yes, octagonal booms) OMP, and more. Would work for mounting probably any boom from a 420 on up except maybe a carbon boom from SAB. Great value, pick a few up because I’ve lost 2 or 3 in crashes. Use a drop of CA to secure the tubes into the mounts. Well thought out design, secures tight enough to stay put but can be moved around if doing maintenance or if the antenna tubes get bumped sideways in a carry bag or back seat of a truck. Better than antenna mounts that cost 3x as much and look better than 3D printed mounts. Little rubber nubs on the bottom side help grip the mount into place, along with the two included zipties. Also can reduce vibes of VBAR (or other FBL’s) antenna wires from going back into the FBL unit. I sometimes use a small strip of electrical tape wrapped around the boom where the mount sits if the boom paint is especially slick. These and the mounts for the Align TB70 are my go-to, depending on the build. Way cheaper and better than the antenna mounts Mikado makes.

This thing just works, and it's cheap. I used one on my Tron Dnamic and on my Kraken because I didn't like the SAB mount for the receiver that I was using. Works perfect.
