Align 470L Metal Rudder Servo Mount

With a little alignment this part slid right into place and stiffened up the tail.
Note: This is designed for the Align DS455M, however, if you have another tail servo, like the Torq CL0306T, you will most likely have to remove the bottom servo plate, install the servo in the mount and then reattach the bottom servo plate.

Great upgrade to the 470L. It adds more rigidity to the frame and you don't have to worry about the screws stripping out.

Fine machine work

I have the 470LM and the only part on the kit that I feel is a week link is the plastic tail servo mount. Not that there is anything wrong with plastic, Just that the plastic part is prone to strip. The metal part removes that possibility. For $15 its a no-brainer! I also feel that for hardcore 3D pilots the added rigidity of the metal mount would help provide even more tail authority. Personally, I'm a scale/sport flyer, I purchased for the serviceability and longevity that the metal part will provide.
