The Align servo I purchased definitely does what I want it to do. Bling means alot and it has a plastic cover so that's why I give it four. But if it wasn't just a practice heli that I wasn't going to crash all the time I could have got the Align all metal cyclic servo. Besides the servo I find the service at heli direct one of the best. Thanks
These work well. I like the upper limit voltage range here. As other have said they don't crash great but this isn't the real problem. When damage gears and go to replace them with a gear set you can not replace the housing or plate the pins go on inside so even with new gears they don't line up and don't work well again. So far in my use they are not actually rebuildable or serviceable. I'm not if the internal pin plate is plastic on the metal case ones too though.
These work great. However, they do not seem to have very strong internals at all. I have crashed my models multiple times. All of my other models have KST or Torq servos. One crash with these servos was all it took to damage the internals. I have since replaced them with KSTs that have now survived multiple crashes.
I have always had good luck with align. I will buy more. The performance is great at this price.
Very good servo for the money which makes it a good value.
Arrived promptly and works perfectly well in my 470
Excellent servos. They work as all Align Helis and parts I’ve ordered. Install them and go fly!
