I didn't have one, and is almost a must when working on your helicopter without marking up the shaft.

These are really good quality wrenches. Works without marring the shaft. A must for building or maintaining your heli.

It’s a simple tool but very nicely machined and with nice anodizing. Works well at holding the shaft otherwise it would be extremely difficult to hold the shaft. Thanks Helidirect!

This saved the day! Couldn't figure out how to remove the end screws without using pliers. This wrench made it so easy for my t-rex 550x feathering shaft.

I got this for a few different helicopters. Especially useful for the newer generation of ultra rigid head heli’s, like the Raw 700 and Specter V2. Assemble one side of the head with bearings and all, tighten down using the feathering shaft wrench, and follow up on the other side. No more playing the game of trying to center the spindle in the head and fiddling with trying to tighten two bolts at the same time on opposite sides of the head.

It works great and prevents damage to feathering shaft.

This wrench is awesome. It is just a couple of one way bearings but oh wow, does it make some of the work on these bigger helis WAY less stressful. No more messing around with towels and plyers and prayers. Easy buy.
