This is a great tool for removing bolts from feathering shaft without damage. Uses a one way bearing to hold the feathering shaft while you unscrew the bolt secured with blue threadlocker. Works well!

Probably my favorite tool ever

Another high quality tool from Align.

I was skeptical that this wrench would work without scratching the feathering shaft, but it works GREAT! It basically contains a one way bearing which tightens against the shaft and works to loosen or tighten the shaft screws. This wrench saved my shaft from being discarded, as the PO used red threadlock.

When I crashed my 500 I was dreading taking the head apart because i knew how hard the feathering shaft was to take apart. I bought this tool and it is amazing. I had no issues switching out shafts because this tool works. HIGHLY recommend this for 450/500.

This thing is a must own for helicopters. Will save you money in the long run over using a locking wrench on the feathering shaft and making a mess of it.

This tool is great for holding shafts when unscrewing, for example, the retaining screw in a feathering shaft on the the 450. Various sizes of these exist, make sure the dimensions match your need. TC
