I put 2 flights on them and they fly great, I’m going to get the Regular 700mm and see how they compare.
main blades are working properly
Put a set on my Whiplash gasser and couldn't be happier. Very stable yet still able to toss the heli around if you want to throw the sticks in the corners.
Balanced perfectly and weigh right around 200 grams each.
Makes auto's look easy.
Highly recommend them.
Look and fly great on my Orange Nitron
I use these on my Specter v2 for F3C practice. Because the CG is end-loaded and forward on the chord, I get a very stable and less agile hover which is great for F3C. And when I go for Aerobatics (Idle Up), the blades give me great forward speed allowing for smooth roll and flip maneuvers. I found my new blades for practice without having to order from overseas!! Thanks HeliDirect and Azure!
Decide to pick up some Azure 700S blades after the Birdsong review to throw on a nitro. These do not disappoint! I tried the Align 700 blades first then the 700S. Matched well with this helicopter.
After some fine tuning on the blades and the Brain 2, these blades did exactly what I was looking for, to help improve my Sportsman and Advance class flying, especially with the hovering maneuvers. In the forward flight maneuvers running at 1800 HS they track really good in fast forward flight, are very smooth but yet still feel crisp and locked in thru out all the scheduled maneuvers. Weight and CG's were very close right out of the box. Still I ran them thru my Koll Rotor Pro from Miniature Aircraft USA and all it took was 4/10ths of a gram in just the right spot to make the final weight (205.6 g), spanwise CG (355mm from center of bolt hole) and chordwise CG (1.6mm from center bolt hole towards trailing edge) identical on both blades. The graphics and finish are really nice and look to be of high quality. The orange color I love, like they were made especially for the Piuma. The only complaint I have is that HeliDirect doesn't carry the matching AZ-105s (orange) tail blades.
So far the Azure blades are great. Right out of the package they look sleek and very colorful. Packaging of the blades was also well thought out. 5 stars.
I just ran these on my raw 700 yesterday and for my first initial flight I could see immediately the total difference in feel over the OG blades( which are amazing as well) they felt so well balanced and tracked perfectly and are very quick and best of all they were totally happy with low headspeed to high headspeed.
