Missing needle applicator and opened
This stuff appears to be a gear lubricant, just as advertised. I applied it to the planetary gearbox gears. There was no needle applicator in the package, but the package says there is. It was missing or removed. Rather annoying as a needle applicator would have made application easier. I reassembled the gearbox and tested the motor/gearbox combination. It ran as expected. Check back with me in a few years and I’ll actually know if this stuff works well to reduce gear wear. Ten seconds of motor run means absolutely nothing. No way to give an honest review until I’ve used the stuff extensively, and that takes time. I’ll buy it directly from the manufacturer next time so hopefully the needle applicator will be included. A fine lubricate for use on our model helos. I found it best to use the included brush applicator. You just need a very thin coating on the plastic main drive gear side. Let it dry to a wax-like consistency and you are ready to go.
You can also apply it to the tail gearbox - if you are using a shaft drive. A belt driven tail might slip if any of the lube gets on the belt.
The current stock of this lube is bunk. The vials contain no dry lube, only solvent. Previous orders have delivered a quick-drying white lubricant. The 2024 stock is clear and provides absolutely no lubricating properties. I would avoid until HD or the manufacturer work out whatever quality issues they are having.

Put these on my torque tube gears in a T-Rex 550X. Immediate improvement. My advice -- do not use on metal gears or main drive gear.
