Egodrift 4030HT

I purchased this for my Tron5.8 because I read a bunch of good reviews about Egodrift motors. This thing has the power to lift, flip, and toss the Tron 5.8 around. I’m running 6s batteries and it has lots of power. I am satisfied with its performance and would recommend this motor to anyone looking to build a 6s system in a 550+ class heli. If you have any questions, just put in a request in their website and they will get back to you. Vincent answered my questions about timing and pwm for these motors. One thing I wish they would do is put some specs in on the HT motors. Even just watt power and current draw would be nice. Great motors, though.

“Update!!” - 3/16/2024 - I am still using this motor in my Tron 5.8 and it performs flawlessly. With this motor the heli feels very light and agile, even when running 6S 6,200mah batteries. The heli itself is light, but when you add high capacity battery packs the weight comes on with the battery, but this ego drift motor still tosses the heli around like it’s nothing with running 1800-1900rpm head speed (I even tried it at 1600rpm and it flew great). I have kicked it up to 2100-2200rpm and it flys with such ease and agility even in 10-15mph winds with gusts up to 25mph+. It is a very strong motor for the 580 class heli. I have a lot of fun with my Tron and this motor. Was definitely the right choice and I do not regret the purchase. The Egodrift motors are well built and I feel confident they will last a long time. I have two Egodrift motors for two different helicopters and I plan to buy more when I decide to build a new heli.

Works magic on 6S / Nimbus

Following a personal recommendation, I gave the 4030HT/1080 a shot on my new 6S Nimbus build (my original plan was a 4025HT) - and the results were nothing shy of impressive.

Would definetly recommend, even convinced it's the superior option for 6S.
