EGODRIFT Tengu high-performance brushless motor for RC Heli are the result of one year of development and testing. The 4525HT Tengu comes with a kV rating of 550kV and fits all 700-800mm class helicopters, such as the XLPower Spectre 700, Goblin 700, T-Rex 700, Align 700, Mikado 700 or Gaui 700 (and various other models).
All CNC parts are processed in our EGODRIFT factory on our Japanese Tsugami precision CNC machines for the utmost in precision and quality. We apply the same high standards to all other components used in the making of this motor, so it features EZO bearings, a custom made stator and special high temperature copper wire.

This thing just rips. I am contemplating replacing all my XNova Lightnings with these egodrift motors! Doesnt get hot and doesnt cog hard like my scorpions

This motor rocks! The power delivery is the best I have used and have been rock solid. Also price affordable for the performance. I have time with the same motor in both my Raw 700 and my XL Power 700.
Everyone has an opinion on which motor should be installed in Roban Super Scale helis. I have always been a Scorpion guy until recently. I chose to switch because I was looking for a motor that didn’t run as hot but did not skimp on performance. Paired with a Kontronik 170, I have more power than I need to lift 20+ pound helicopters. I recommend if you are going to install this motor In a Roban, you should also purchase smaller tooth pulley for the main belt drive system. The 4525 is the biggest can you can squeeze in the mechanics without having to grind away the frame. The 4525/550 provides great torque with multi-blade heads and approximately 1400 rpm Headspeeds. I’ve never had an issue with bearings, shaft, windings or wiring so I give this five stars.
I upgraded an old Scorpion with this Egodrift and I'm super impressed!! I installed it in my old 700e 1st gen. It was a TIGHT fix and I had to clearance the servo mount alittle ( very little ). This motor makes TONS of power!! Super impressed I just purchased another for my Spector 700.
I had to trim the shaft for the RAW, but no problem. Very surprised at how much power this motor has. Beat on it as hard as I could at 2250 headspeed and came down barely warm. Ran 3 flights one after the other with maybe a minute in between them and still, just warm. Super amazed. Couldn't be happier with the choice of this over the slightly heavier 4530.
