FlyWing BELL-206 V3 GPS Scale Helicopter W/ ACE Flight Controller (RTF)

All I can say is wow, this helicopter is great. It flys so smooth and wonderful. If your thinking about it stop and just buy it you will not be sorry, I love it !

This helicopter works very well. Simple to use, flies great and looks scale.

Had a little problem but Heli Direct took great care. very Happy with the Bell 206 and the service.

This is a fun heli to fly and it's pretty quiet. Nice scale looks, and fun to customize for that more detailed look.

Hate to wait on a break in the weather. A gentle and forgiving heli that flies to well, so smooth and will be perfect for beginners, as well as old timers getting back into it. Kudos all around!

So, I had to wait for the weather to clear for a test flight. The results?

Anyone thinking this is a 3D ship will be disappointed. It isn't. It's a slow and very forgiving chopper, and that it's a scale makes sighting it far easier. Perfect for beginners wanting to taste rotor, and less of a rocket ship for the older guys like me who want to fly for the sake of fun. Incredibly stable hover and scoots around like someone's buzzing your neighborhood. I love this machine! Thanks, guys!

Great product and great service what a combination highly recommended

Well it's now a month into ownership and while I love this machine, I noticed an intermittent problem with my Bell 206.
Flights 8 and 24 (I now have over 35 flights on the machine) the H1 locked me out and the autopilot landed the helicopter albeit gently where it was, south of the field and in the weeds. No damage, but the ball links did get dislodged on one occasion on the swash, when the blades contacted the tall bush.
I've contacted HeliDirect and they advised that the H1 and H2 have been discontinued due to known issues with the compass and Flywing products are now shipping with "ACE" flight controllers. I'm sure Helidirect wil;l make this right. It's a very expensive bit of kit plus, I live in the Caribbean and I spent a lot of money in additional courier shipping and customs duties and taxes to get it here.
So if purchasing, ensure you're getting the kit with the "ACE" flight controller NOT the H1.

Received my Bell 206 Jet Ranger yesterday, along with a comprehensive stock of spares I ordered, I fly electrics, nitros, gassers and turbines, really love this thing. It's very relaxed and enjoyable scale flying without the "pucker factor" of $20K worth of machinery airborne.
I can see this heli being pressed into service at our flying field to train newcomers to the wonderful world of RC rotary-wing flight.
Advice to FlyWing, great job on this product but a few inexpensive upgrades will certainly increase the appeal:
1) A scale looking Tail-Rotor
2) A stinger on the vertical stabilizer to protect the Tail-Rotor on inadvertent tail-first landings
3) A simple plastic right-angle bracket attached to the receiver (double sided tape) to mount the antennas (heat-shrink tube) at right angles for diversity (I made one from ABS plastic)
4) Some nav lights please

At 70 years old, I really appreciate how relaxing flying this bird is. Also, the H1 software is very intuitive and allows the user to easily tinker and adjust for a custom feel of the flight characteristics.
