FlyWing FW450L V3 GPS Helicopter w/ ACE Flight Controller RTF (Orange)

I have several small heli's so I am learning. This is by far the best Heli I have ever owned. I fly it every time I go out, regardless of wind. Flies forever on a single charge and can be super tame or wow!

I bought the fw450 flywing but still hzve not received it

This heli flies so well I decided to buy the green one also for my son.. the GPS helps a lot for us. I fly jets and warbirds, so entering into the heli platform has been fun with the help of the GPS feature..

I had already given up on the idea of flying a helicopter, given the difficulty of maintaining full control. The new Flywing experience allows me the opportunity of enjoying this activity without so often crashing my copter.

I have several others from 200 to 700 class but nothing in the 450-550 range. Bought it to introduce my fiancé to helicopters, she still isn't ready just yet. I did test the auto modes and GPS hold but fly medium fast 3D usually. This helicopter holds its own even being a direct drive tail this size. Flown roughly 60 packs through it without problems.
As always, with anything these days especially anything that flies, it's mandatory to go through it since its assembled by someone else, checking for issues or loose assembly. Didn't find anything worthy to note. Have fun!

Received the 450L V3 in two days! Just flew it for the first time. Everything is as advertised. Great customer service from Helidirect. I'm new to the game and the Fly Wing helicopters are great. The Bell 206 is also a great helicopter if you're looking for reliability and enjoyment in a scale helicopter. For more power and cranking and banking, you can't go wrong with the FW450L V3. I have not done a maiden flight yet, it's bright,well packed with everything in a foam case. I will be in touch with the first flight !!

As a beginner to RC in general whether its airplanes or helicopters the ones like this are the best ones for your buck. Im a private pilot in real life and love to fly rc when I can't get up in the real deal. These helicopters are amazing. With many features such as an amazing GPS system allowing it to stop as soon as you let go of the stick and stay there to it returning back due to it going out of range or low battery, this is an amazing heli. I have a Blade Eclipse 360 which I bought before this one. This one beats it right out the conversation. Carbon fiber body, blades and lots of metal moving parts. Pre programmed flight modes and plans. Automatic inverted mode, and most important the 5000mah 4s Pack which when flying in GPS mode has lasted me under moderate flying 25 mins each time! GREAT heli for beginners. What we need next is a larger scale with this technology!

One think you
Must to do before e you fly:
- check the motor wire location
In my first fly the battery pushed the wires against the motor gear and it eat the wire protection exposing the wires almost causing a shortcut
Need to protect it again with electrical tape
- check the battery position it is very close to the motor gear, it can touch if wiggle
