Flywing FW450 V3 Quick Release Blades Grip Metal Rotor Head Set

I ordered this with the heli. It makes storing the heli much easier - just a simple push and twist to remove the blades plus the precision on a metal head. Very reasonably priced too.

The quick release rotor head is not only good looking, the quick release system is awesome.

Take it apart, clean it, regrease it and loctite the feather shaft bolts correctly. Great rotor head.

Bought this for my intro into 3D flying and it’s been great! Parts are affordable to replace ($15 for carbon rotors) and in stock. The Heli is built very well and is of premium quality parts. Repairs (if needed) couldn’t be easier (tail boom simply disconnects and attaches via a lever). With this upgraded model (H1 flight controller) inverter flying is already enabled so there is no need whatsoever to “unlock” anything or plug into a computer. Only thing they don’t make clear (to me) was this Heli comes with two batteries and in order to use the second battery you’ll want to buy a battery bracket and Velcro strap if you don’t have one. Other than that very happy with this heli.

Wow! What a great product! Bought this together with the Flywing FW450. Installed in under 2 minutes, quality aluminum parts, makes installing and removing blades a snap. Did not introduce any vibration to the helicopter and along with the detachable tail boom makes setting up and breaking down the helicopter a 15 second operation! Highly recommend not only this modification but the Flywing FW 450 as well.
