FlyWing FW450L V3 GPS Helicopter w/ ACE Flight Controller RTF (Orange)

I'm the third person in our club to get the Flywing FW450. I haven't flown a helicopter in about 30 years when i was flying a Concept 30 and never did get into forward flight. This helicopter flys great for a beginner with some familiarity on the sticks and I love that home switch. About the only negative I see is getting the Heli initialized as all three of us seem to have this problem getting the motors to turn on. It might just be a case of better documentation being needed. Also, it looks like they changed the flight controller because the satellite connect light does not line up with the sight hole in the canopy on mine but does on the two other people with this heli. I also seemed to luck out as mine came with two batteries and marker lights on both sides of the helicopter while the others only got one battery and lights on one side of the heli. The person training me also noted some changes to the switch functions on the transmitter. No big deal to me - just interesting. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase and would do it again.

The Flywing 450 L with ACE controller is an amazing flier. I've had the 450L H1 for almost a year and have logged many flight hours. The ACE controller makes the 450 an all new experience. I can control my head speed and bank angle from the transmitter with 3 different sensitivity and flight modes. It's much closer to flying a standard helicopter. The LED flight status aviation lights are a big advantage as I can see exactly whats going on, especially when progressing through the startup
sequence. Heli Direct shipping was quick and secure and they delivered their usual extraordinary service. If you have ever wanted to fly a helicopter this is a must have. It's a 5 +.

The flywing FW450L Heli in my opinion is a great Heli for beginners and intermediate flyers.
I have flown it a few times now and the only problem that I have had with the FW450L is the battery holder, after the second flight the battery hold broke! But thanks to HELIDIRECT they sent a new battery holder to me at NO-CHARGE.

The package arrived very well secured and it was shipped in a very timely manner. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. Assembly took all of about 2 minutes. It flies unbelievably stable right out of the box and I didn't have to make any adjustments at first. I did end up increasing the tail speed, but that's just personal preference. The one switch flip to auto land is really cool and very accurate. It landed within inches of where it took off. This is one of the best training rc helicopters I've ever seen. It's size gives it stability without being so big that it's intimidating. And I got tired of flying it before the battery died. I landed after numerous minutes of flying with 57% battery left. It's nice to fly these helicopters hard, fast, and beat on them a little bit, but it's also nice to have an option like this where you can just calmly enjoy flying without any stress of crashing. As long as you wait until the gps fully initializes, then you would almost have to intentionally crash it for it to get damaged. Really fun heli.

Radio comes labeled for the switches/modes. Caveman can fly this. Flies great.
