The FrSky Wireless USB Dongle For Simulator allows you to wirelessly connect your FrSky transmitter to computer to use simulator. Then bind your transmitter to it, now you can move freely while using a simulator.
Features
• Compact design • Low power requirements: typically 55mA • Compatible with FrSky transmitters and module systems (Mode D16) • Compatible with popular simulators (DRL, LiftOff, Freerider, HotProps, etc.) • 8 proportional channel and 8 switch channel output (set on the transmitter side) • Firmware upgradable (through S.Port)
Bought this so I could have more stickers time with my X18RS to get more used to using it and feel. Easy to use! Must have if you want to use the transmitter you use at the field on your computer.

Easy Peasy on Frsky & Heli-X
On Frsky X18S I cloned my Goblin 420c model file, renamed it, and changed the RF System to D16. Connected flawlessly and flies great on Heli-X!

I have an old Taranis QX7 ACCST transmitter that I use for sim and buddy box duty. I had been using it with a USB cable with AccuRC. Initially, I couldn't get the QX7 to bind with this dongle, but after updating the tx to the latest version of ACCST available on the FrSky website, it bound right up. I was able to quickly set it up as a new transmitter in AccuRC. By using two models in the tx, you have the ability to choose the wired version of the tx which saves on RF deck wear and the wireless version using this dongle, which untethers you from the PC but requires that power be suppled to the RF deck and that the tx be transmitting.
