FURITEK BETTLE CARBON FIBER COMP CHASSIS FOR FURITEK FX118 RED VERSION
Just use the beetle body dont really know how to work on chasis fits on originsl chasis then put the extended portal axle and weights now crawls much better put lights coz i crawl at night after work dont need lights outside
Top notch frame. So many options. I've used this frame with so many different options. Truly amazing
Great chassis, build went together nicely. Hardware could be better, and I remember a few areas that weren't clear how it would all go together but overall very nice part.
This is an excellent comp chassis for the FX118 Fury Wagon for adding 4 wheel steering. This chassis does not restrict suspension movement & can flex the suspension far more than the stock aluminum chassis allows. So many shock mounting positions & the chassis is carbon fiber for low weight. Great buy if you want the most out of your FX118 Fury Wagon.
Bought this chassis along with lots of up grades. The front suspension for shocks is to high. Drive shafts don't fit and front diff is very close to motor. The rear fits fine. After 2 days of going thru all options to get it to work it never fit properly. Put all my upgrades back on the original frame and it went good. Spent several days with furitek to to get it figured out. Was a hassle to get money back and they were aware of the issue. And no instructions with it and none of the holes are tapped like the original frame making it more difficult to build. I should have done more research on this before I bought it. Do not recommend buying it and dealing with furitek was terrible.
Tedious to put together. Metal driveshafy hits motor at full compression.
Nice looking chassis, screws could be longer. Have to do some adjusting to fit cedar motor.
Excellent upgrade for my Fury Wagon FX118 sleek design, easy assembly highly recommended
This was a lot of fun even without any instructions. I can see where a non-mechanical person might have trouble assembling this. The frame is good, but the included hardware is cheap. I did some upgrades while I had everything apart. Very pleased with the outcome this little thing is a crawling beast. I really enjoyed assembling this and ready to build another one.
