Fit well easy to install
The plastic hexes rub on the outer front portal covers and I have to leave the wheel nut about 2-3 turns from being tight to keep the friction off of the front wheels. Bought two sets of brass hexes for this thing and neither set are right either. Another bad design and miss on an expensive upgrade. And let's not talk about the cheap plastic caster blocks that break super easy causing you to have to buy a metal axle.
I just got a set of the front & rear brass portal covers with front aluminum steering knuckles for my FX118 Fury Wagon so I could balance my weight more upfront. The fit & finish is excellent quality & do not have any slop once installed. Nice upgrade for more serious crawling.
I knew of the problem with the overdrive gears being to thick. Had to do some grinding. But it worked
I love them, well made & easy to install.
These items along with the steel drive shafts, added strength and weight where it was needed.
Parts are good quality, shipping is still way to slow
These brass covers added great weight down low where it's needed.
I only use the front ones, good craftsmanship and better weight distribution. Highly recommend.
