Goosky E2 UH-1Y Air Rescue GPS Helicopter - BNF

With a switch option for GPS and Lidad, Lidar only or your on your own, this is one fun Heli for those of us new to helicopters.

This thing is great, performs perfectly. The return to home mode is fascinating to watch, it always draws a lot of attention at the field. The appearance is very good, well detailed and easy to see. The three flight modes enable almost anyone to fly it, even old guys like me . I recommend it if you’re new or just starting to fly helicopters, or just want something relaxing to fly sometimes. I definitely recommend this helicopter.

After placing my order, the Goosky E2 UH-1Y Air Rescue GPS Helicopter (BNF Version) arrived quickly and I was able to assembly it. Then bind it to my RadioMaster TX16S MK II Radio. Very pleased with this helicopter!

Good helicopter make sure not to fly under objects open field or open spaces only returne to home will crash you.

The tail rotor quit at about 30’ up on the fourth flight resulting in a bent main shaft, broken landing skid and a couple cracks in the fuselage and of course a bad tail motor. Helidirect sent me repair parts and back in air. Helidirect customer service A+

I purchased the bnf E2 because I did not want another transmitter and I fly RC edf on a Radiomaster TX16S. Although the model seems to be manufactured of high quality materials and the scale details are great!, the setup information provided by Goosky in the owner manual is geared more towards the rtf version. This made setting the model up in my transmitter a pretty steep learning curve. It would be very helpful if Goosky would provide a supplement to the owners manual with setup information for the bnf version of the model.

Although this unit is a quality product with admirable features that flies as advertised, the packaging is disappointing for a product in this price range. The foam box in which the unit is shipped is very good for shipping protection, but horrid as a model transport package! For the cost of a few more pennies of foam the shipping package could have been a model carrying case as well. It cannot function as such unless the model has the main blades and tail rotor removed, which is no picnic to accomplish if you fly this model frequently.
The functionality of the model is impressive. The propulsion, both main and tail, is very stout and responds well to cyclic and collective inputs. The GPS stability makes this helicopter easy for an inexperienced pilot to fly even in a mild breeze. The detail of the model as well as the fit and finish makes it an excellent entry into the scale helicopter sector.
I like the model a lot and dislike the fact that it does not come with a case that might be used for transport (without some major modifications).
