Goosky Legend S1 Helicopter (BNF) - Blue

Great flyer and beginner friendly as well as for those who haven’t flown in a while and want to get back in. I added the ELRS receiver, which is a cheap option to use this on my radiomaster gear. I wish the instructions for the curves were better, but the Facebook groups and a YouTube video got me squared away and flying. Fun little bird, and really simple to fly in stabilized mode. Don’t be confused and think stabilized mode holds it perfectly still in a hover - you need to apply small inputs….

Have been eyeing this heli for awhile and heli directly came thru with a great sale on them which made it affordable enough for me to pull the trigger. Upon receiving the heli wonderfully packaged I sadly had to wait a few days to figure out all the radio settings as this was a bnf version and the radio I purchased to use with it is very high tech. Hard to go wrong with goosky products esp when they are sold buy helidorect which is a very good company they really stand behind the product and take good care of their customers.

I purchased the blue Goosky S1 as my second S1 to have a field backup if I ditched the first one. Setup went fairly easy and the helicopter performs as expected.

I recently got back into micro helis and this heli is a game changer. It helps make the hobby have a lower barrier to entry without breaking the bank. Parts are readily available and super cheap. Amazed at how well this thing flies and how well it handles crashes.

I have the original S1 and bought another one as backup. This V2 is nearly the same, as far as I can tell, except for the ELRS capability. The FBL and ESC are also substantially different in physical layout. Most of the mechanicals look the same, which means Goosky stayed with the weak boom attachment at the frame and weak tail rotor attachment. If they would have improved those two areas to incorporate clamp attachments, like the OMP M1, this little heli would get 5 stars. As is, the boom is vulnerable during any crash.

Great fun little heli. Got back into flying heli’s after taking a break from them for about 19yrs. This Goosky is very durable to a certain degree. Yes parts will eventually break/bend but I’ve crashed numerous times and was able to unfold the blades back out and take off again and continue to fly inverted. Plus side, parts to repair are a lot cheaper than if you were to dump a larger size heli. If you’re hesitant on getting this heli, bite the bullet and just buy it and buy it from Helidirect. Fast shipping and pleased to do business with. I enjoy flying my S1 that I had to go and buy a S2 max from Helidirect.

the goosky s1 is huge upgrade from the blade 130x the electric tail is great, way more power than 130x very snappy flies very smooth easy to load battery and set up was easy a good heli for beginners and pros, the app is nice to
