Hobbyplus ARKTOS 6X6 Yellow Body/Gray Rear Bed

I have bought several 6x6 rc trucks including the wpl military trucks and the FMS 1/18 scale Atlas. The Atlas was good , but this Arktos with big block 280 motor and all metal gears far surpasses them all. It is very capable in all terrains, and the winch is a plus! Recommend highly!

I now have four of these trucks. Yes four but they all look different. A stock looking tow truck, a heavy wrecker with a underlift, a Dakar rally, and an Expedition / Overlander vehicle. I made three of them brushless but kept the last one brushed….for now.

Wanted to put another review with some pictures where my 5 yr old has started to put this to some level of torture test :) Awesome truck. I am eager to gradually put some upgrades into it over the next few months.

I always wanted to own a 6x6 and the high end 10 scale ones are quite expensive. I was surprised to see such a good quality 6x6 and loaded with features including light kits, working winch etc! At this price point I think it is probably unbeatable. Awesome customer service by directRc, by the way. Always quick to respond and very helpful

Got this truck cause I never had 6x6 and have wanted a wrecker for some time hence the arktos! After getting it I realized how much help it is to use it to carry my other vehicles from car to crawl spot....

Great concept bit not enough weight out the box. Would not stay planted while using winch.

The links are cheap, the shaft broke in the first run.
