IKON REMOTE USB - RED

I ordered this Ikon remote usb device, which was my second one to get. The first one worked great on my first helicopter, so when I went to put one on my 2nd helicopter, it wasn’t working, which seemed strange since I set it up the same a the first one. As a result, I ordered another (3rd) remote usb for that 2nd helicopter and this one works fine, just like my original one. Since it was electronics and in an opened package, which was never flown - just went thru bench setup, I did not pursue a refund and just chalked it up to a loss due to an issue with that one particuar device. That’s the only reason why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5. If HeliDirect were to reach out and offer in-store credit for a return of it, I’d be happy to change my review to 5 stars! I now have a non-working, useless spare to stare at! Having said that, when they work, they’re awesome. You can mount the flybarless unit closer to the main shaft (main axis of rotation) without worrying about how you’re going to connect the usb cable from the Ikon unit to a computer for programming and tweaks later on.

Helidirect is a great place to get all your heli needs! Their customer service is as good as it gets! 10 out of 10!! I once ordered the wrong servos and immediately sent an email. I wish I remembered her name but she corrected my mistake almost as quick as I made it! Anytime I'm ordering parts I always check with helidirect first for that reason.

This is a must have item for the RC Heli "Tune Tweaker". I always buy this along with my Ikon2.

Sometimes orientation of the ikon can make plugging directly into the fc difficult. This solves those situations.

Good remote for connecting to computer. Helidirect always gives good customer service with questions and issues.

Got the remote USB module for my Raw 580 and RS7. The way my Ikon sits it is a pain to get a cord plugged into it. This makes it a breeze since the port is on the side and is more easily accessible, and the module itself is very small so you can leave it on the heli if wanted, highly recommend!

Most of us purchase a micro USB extension to give us access to the back of our Brain/IKON2 FBL unit, this accessory essentially does the same thing. It’s useful but not mandatory. I was looking for the remote WIFI unit for the IKON2 FBL but I got this instead.

Sometimes can't easily get access to the Ikon USB port so this little guy solves the problem. Perfect!
