Kenny Ko Professional RC Helicopter Pitch Gauge Version 2

I ordered this pitch gaugue while I was building a helicopter. LAter when I got to the ooint of using it to set the pitch, I was disappointed. THere were no instructions with the product so I still have not figured out how to calibrate the gauge to zero before using. THere are two buttons on the unit which seem to have multiple functions but you have to guess what those functions do.

The quality of the machining and parts fit are good. The carrying case is large and has room for other accessories. IJust wish this had some documentation.

This pitch gauge is very stable and does not drift. It is well-made and seems to be very accurate. The only complaint I have is the automatic shut off which occurs in about 20 seconds. You have to bump the gauge to make it turn back on. In the process, you are disturbing the item you were trying to measure. An auto shut off is a good idea, but it should be set for about three minutes. In my opinion.

Finally there is an affordable, high quality pitch gauge available. You won’t regret purchasing this one!

Great Pitch Gauge

The gauge works well. It includes a nice case and charging cable. Not much to say; it works flawlessly.

The V2 comes with a nice case, a USB to USB-C charging cable, and is actually wide and tall enough to fit VTX 717’s blades and the Venture 716’s. The V1, which I unfortunately bought a week before the V2 was released, fit about 55mm down the blade tip on those blades.
Nice CNC materials, a screw cut-out in the bottom of the gauge so you can zero it on a Scorpion motor with a big button screw, and a quality angle gauge. I’m not sure what practical use the “hold” function has, as it takes a kind of snap shot of the angle it was pressed at and does nothing more until you hit it again. I don’t love how the spring on the back is exposed, or that the gauge doesn’t specify what type of rechargeable lithium battery is inside. If it’s a lipo, keeping this tool in your car/tool box/backpack or just out on a table on a hot summer day could damage the battery inside. The finish and quality of this tool is impressive. I could see a few tweaks to the design that could make it be the last angle gauge you’d ever need to buy. Maybe there will be a “perfect” V3 someday. The price is about $20 too high, but the quality is there. If it was perfect and maybe had a swash-leveling function, I would be happy with the price.
