O.S.Engine 105HZ-R DRS 1.05 Helicopter Engine
It powers my kraken 700 great and I got the motor faster than expected thank helidorect
I use OS Engines for powering all my vehicles, they get the job done well. The 105 regulated is in my N7 and NX7. Both run strong, easy to tune and maintain. Rebuilds are also very straight forward and easy. Excellent quality and readily available parts at most LHS’s or as always online. I bought this without a machine to put it in. Now trying to decide if I want to have it as a backup or build another helicopter. Until last year I had only electric helis and numerous batteries/chargers. Nitro is the way to go, as it always has been. Fly, refuel, repeat!
This is the second one I've purchased that seemed to overheat and burn up a piston. I figured the first one was just running too lean but the needle settings were close to factory. I didn't change the needle settings and it ended up burning up the piston. However; after replacing the sleeve, piston, and rings in both they run great.
Fantastic power!
I recently got into nitro after having flown electrics for a year. This engine is extremely easy to setup and tune which is great for someone who is new to nitro on helis. I am currently leaning mine out but it has a lot of power and I can't wait to finally have it tuned to perfection. I have paired mine with a PowerBoost pipe.
