The Nexus-XR revolutionizes helicopter flight controllers by integrating a cutting-edge ExpressLRS receiver with dual Semtech SX1281 2.4GHz transceivers. This built-in receiver delivers exceptional RF performance, superior range, reliability, and effortless setup. It eliminates the need for external receivers, simplifying installation and reducing weight.Ā
At the core of the Nexus-XR is the powerful STM32F722 MCU, paired with the ICM42688P 6-axis MEMS motion-tracking device. This device provides excellent vibration resistance and enhanced signal rejection, making it ideal for electric and nitro helicopters.
The Nexus-XR features several key upgrades. An improved BEC delivers more stable power to electronics, enhancing reliability, while the external voltage input now supports a range of 3.6V to 70V. Memory has been upgraded to 256MB, enabling longer flight logs. The CNC-machined aluminum case is sleeker yet still serves as a protective shield and heat sink, keeping the system cool during intense flights.
Designed for ultimate convenience, the Nexus-XRās compact, rugged build fits a wide range of helicopter sizes, and delivers top performance in demanding conditions.

Steep learning curve, but very mighty tiny FBL unit
Switched from Futaba to RadioMaster and RotorFlight-based systems. At first, super confusing as there is arming and all sorts of things to worry about, but once learned the basics of the new system, this is really, really good.
Setting up the second heli was much faster and easier. It's quite amazing to see how much configuration and adjustment there is, not that you really need all of it, but fine-tuning one heli for F3C flight, and another for F3N. Long story short: you can set up different profiles/rates in the FBL unit with expo and all, no need to set up radio as much, if at all. Laptop setup!
And the size is compact enough to fit the old Goblin 380 KSE, as well as Gaui X7, or the latest Genesis (full-size).

Excellent flight controller
Wasn't to difficult to figure out. Works great.
Going to get more for other helis
