RC ERA C032 Huey UH1 6CH - RTF w/ Optical Sensor and Upgraded Transmitter Helicopter - Yellow (w/o weapon)

I received my helicopter and it’s the best one I’ve had so far and it’s so authentic and amazing to fly I recommend buying it!!!!

The Huey and extra battery pack arrived very quickly from Helidirect. I was pleasantly surprised to see that an extra set of main and tail rotors were included.

The instructions aren't the greatest, but setup and operation are very simple. Too, there are video reviews on YouTube that illustrate how the system works.
After charging the batteries for the chopper and installing four AA batteries in the remote the Huey was ready for flight.

It works exactly as advertised, taking off, hovering, and landing at the push of a button. It flies very well and is quite stable. It's best to fly it indoors where there is no wind but can be flown outside in very light winds once you master the controls. I haven't tried inverted flight, yet. The little egg beater flies for 10+ minutes on a charge.

I've bashed the copter into various hard surfaces and amazingly, the rotor blades, which are quite flexible, have survived with almost no visible damage - just a little scuffing on the tips. It's a tough little bird.

Given the excellent performance and durability, I think this helicopter is a real bargain. You will have fun with it even if you've never flown anything before. I highly recommend it.

A $99 dollar heli that actually holds hover hands free and flies well inside and outdoors. Lotta fun with this guy. Well worth it and HeliDirect is a great source for everything in the hobby.

We are never buying cheap Amazon flyers ever again! We bought this on clearance and bought several batteries due to reviews showing short flying times. The chopper is super realistic, we took some photos we set up to make it look like it was flying through a valley in the background and people we send the photos to can’t tell it’s a hobby chopper! This was our first copter so we keep it on low, it has three speed settings. Once we set it to hover without drifting, we took it outside. There was a slight breeze that would have carried away any other copter we have owned, but this one acted like it wasn’t there! Super stable and fast, even against a breeze. It was too fast for us on the slow mode, but thankfully handled extremely well. For what we paid, this and the other chopper delivered more than we expected. My son is 9 and this is a great first flyer for him. He’s been flying cheap copters for a few years but we stopped for a bit because they were so frustrating to fly. This one refreshed us back to enjoying flying! We get 20 minutes fly time. Anyone who gets less, I am guessing is a more experienced flyer and has it one a higher setting. Even on low it handles quickly to avert crashing into things. I am super impressed and the next one will probably be another rc era copter. The auto take off and landing is a great feature and the upgraded controller works well.

I don’t know how the heli performs or works because it never arrived. It’s been lost in shipping for weeks now bouncing across the USA. I give up and if it shows up, it shows up. I don’t even care anymore. HeliDirect wasn’t much help other than telling me to wait longer.
