SteamRC Terminator CNC Ball Link Pliers 5.0mm - Titanium Black

Purchased these, the plastic locking device to keep them closed broke during the first use. These did not fit Goosky 700 series ball links well at all (they were supposed to). They worked poorly installing and removing ball links, finally just gave up using them because they were so useless. Have used other brands on ball links in the past (Miniature Aircraft ball links) and those worked fine (the ball links were admittedly smaller). Will be purchasing a better/name brand and throwing these away.

Trying to get the RS6 links off with my small ball link pliers was a pain. This one works perfect! I broke the little plastic clip that holds the pliers closed when I first got them but it looks like almost everyone else had the same problem. No big deal for me because I would never store them in the closed position.

Work like they should. The little plastic lock broke on the second use. Not a big deal for me but of you want them to stay closed when not using them this is the only weak point in the product.

I have three old ball link pliers and decided to try a more modern pair. Huge difference, as these jaws are strong enough to not flex, making it easier to remove or replace a ball link, especially the larger ones. My old ones are probably about 15 years old and were probably more expensive at the time than these are, and not nearly the quality.

These SteamRC Terminator CNC Ball Link Pliers come in 3 size yaw size versions meant to be used with 4.75mm, 5.0mm, 5.5mm link balls which are the most common link ball sizes for 380 to 800 size helicopters. These tools so far come in 4 different color options (blue, red, gray, and pink).

These tools perform very well as expected. They have a locking lever to keep the handles from springing open during storage. Once you undo the locking lever, the tool springs open.

I purchased three of these tools in the 3 different yaws sizes (4.75mm, 5.0mm, and 5.5mm). The one improvement I would like to see is having the yaws size LASER stamped on the tool itself. I personally stuck a label with the actual yaws opening sizes (4.85mm, 5.10mm, and 5.70mm) on the handle (see pics) for easy identification. I would also like to see replacement yaws.

Ball link pliers makes building way easier and eliminates busting up fingers!
