First off… The bright/fluorescent looking green depicted in the photo is miles away from the actual blade color, which is almost a dark forest green. I bought these to match the streamlined green RS7 canopy and it’s not even close. It would be closer to the new dark green canopy of the RS7 Ultra.
The blades are quiet, efficient, and agile. The best way I can describe the feel is a 60/40 split of an Azure 700 and Rotortech Ultimate 700. They feel like they have less lift and authority than the Rotortechs, especially felt at lower RPM’s. They are smooth flying and carve tight turns though the air without having to “push” them through the corner. Forgiving around mid-stick for people with less than perfect collective management, but like the Azures they seem to really shine in the 2000+rpm headspeed range. After one test flight on a Specter NME V2. I liked the Venture 701’s better than the Venture 716’s on that airframe, I usually prefer the Azure Pro 715 blade on that helicopter for easier tuning. I haven’t flown them on an RS7 yet, fingers crossed they are the right match for that airframe. Also need to test fly them on a Nitron 90 to see how they do with nitro, they seem like they would perform well. It takes a few flights to get used to the timing of these blades if you’ve been flying something more aggressive like VTX’s or Rotortechs. For 1850rpm and lower, I prefer the Rotortech Ultimates. These feel nothing like VTX blades, if you’re wondering that. They don’t have as much hang time in auto’s as other blades, but more than the Azures for sure.
The fly well, but something about them blade and packaging make them feel kind of cheap, like they should cost $20 less per set. Still, I would choose these over Azure 700’s all day long.
