Good sale deal

I was looking to step up from a hi wing trainer to an intermediate airplane, and with this one having the interesting design option to be build it either as a hi or low wing, it fit the bill, and at the sale price, it made it a done deal. For the most part, the plane seemed well built and came as described. The lower latch wood retainers came broken off, but they were easily glued back on. There seems to be some slight discrepancy between this sales page and the included instructions about the battery and propeller recommendations. After researching the motor, SURPASS High Performance 2216 880Kv, I went with a 3 cell 3200mAh battery and a 10X6e prop. There was no problem with CG or power. Once I get a little better at flying and switch to the low wing configuration, I may also change out the battery to a 4 cell and/or change the motor for something a little stronger.

Little Tough Review!!!

Very disappointed with instructions, actually, they are terrible! If this is your first plane, you need a lot of help! Doesn't tell you prop size, they should include prop, others do when electric motor is included and mounted. Rudder is extremely thin and mine was warped! They say to use a heat gun to help, again, who has heat gun?? The thinness of the balsa in rudder is problem, not the covering. Also, instructions should suggest to epoxy landing gear in place, if you do not they are extremely loose. I assure you after first hard landing they will give out, probably damage bottom of fuselage. After all this, correct all issues, plane does fly nice. I actually enjoy flying it. 5 stars for flying, 3 or less stars for instructions. Except for rudder, rest of plane is built well.
