GREAT REPLACEMENT PARTS

I usually buy at least one other battery tray with each heli kit or heli I get. Makes it easier to swap out and charge one while having another one ready to go fly with at the same time.

Nice quality cut carbon fiber. Not much to say, the trays are a few dollars cheaper than other companies’ trays for their 550 size machines… and the Nimbus 550 is all about being high quality with a lower cost to repair, so it can be a daily basher that you can afford to push the limits with. The straps that are included are just a wide version of XLPower’s hook and loop tape, this is where the cost savings come in for the company and passed on to the consumer. I don’t know if this style battery strap would become an issue, I assume they are well tested- however I will be using standard style straps that have buckles to get the packs strapped in tight. As advice given by Nick Maxwell, tightly strap your packs onto the trays to reduce flex in the airframe as well as any residual inertia after a rolling maneouver.
