Introduction:
Optimized left side frame — the rudder servo cutout has been removed, resulting in higher structural integrity and improved crash resistance.
👉 For pilots who do not fly extremely hard 3D and are not concerned about rod strike, the WC-style upper tail control rod setup can be used. This reduces tail control linkage complexity and drag, but requires a 3500 mAh or larger receiver pack to balance the CG.
• Required parts: XL70V2A02 (servo spacers), MSH51145 (M2.5×16 screws), XL70V2T08-2 (tail control rod).
👉 Alternatively, the Ultimate-style boom-mounted tail servo (XL70V2T12) can be used, but be aware of the risk of fuel contamination on the tail servo.
👉 When using either the WC upper-rod setup or the Ultimate boom-mount setup, two left side frames can be installed together to strengthen the front section of the frame, making the front structure more rigid and durable.
