YX C189 MD500E Body Set - Green

Ordered the green body for a spare/possible swap out. When I got it in the mail the tail had a piece broken off and the skit was bent to the point of breaking. Sent an email to Helidirect and Patrick hooked me right up with a replacement shipped same day. Haven't had many issues with any purchases from HD, but when I do, they are on point in taking care of it.

this is my third c189, the first is an olive drab with the guns, the second I bought the extra body parts and made a stock md500, painted it to look like TC'S Magnum chopper, looks great, will send pics. I have reviewed these and have pics up on the camo and olive drab c189 area's. As for this last purchase. I have sent a request for a replacement, waiting on an answer. The helicopter is defective, a bad day at the factory I guess, has the fly away issue as reported on the web. No matter what you do the helicopter is in high speed take off and does not respond to anything at the controls, even tried another control transmitter from the other c189, luckily I was holding the chopper so I did not have a fly away, tuff part was shutting the helicopter off -had to pop of the canopy without hitting the blades to shut battery off then it stopped. Regarding the other two, great helicopters, fly great, lots of fun -read my previous revues under John N. Gave 4 stars would have 5 given how the other two perform so well , but whomever put this one together at the factory must have been having a bad day. Hope the replacement gets here soon.
