The model supports a rear-inserting battery tray, allowing you to install batteries without ever removing the canopy.

SAB IL Goblin Pro 520
Excellent kit from SAB and just the right size for me to get back into helis after a 20 year hiatus! The instruction manual is second to none and explains every step in detail. The quality of the heli is absolutely the best I have seen, even compared to the new airplane ARFs coming out.
Ordering and shipping were also excellent, with Patrick helping me through what I needed. Shipping was really quick and there was no damage to anything (all well packaged).
This will be interesting as my thumbs are used to large scale aircraft and some practice on the sim and with my Blade Fusion 360 will be in order!

SAB 520 Pro
Highly quality flying machine. First SAB heli and it won’t be my last. Already itching to buy the 420 pro and 700 pro. The quality of these newer machines has greatly improved from the heli’s I used to own back in 2002. If you think twice about spending the $ for a SAB, just go and spend it cause you won’t be disappointed. Helidirect is my go to shop for my rc fix.

I Really Like This Heli!
This heli is just awesome and flys awesome. Takes high head speed and a pounding like a champ. I bought this to replace my Raw 500 I sold, with regret. I really Like this one. I kept all the electronics from my Raw 500 and put them in this one. Had to change out the motor shaft on the Xnova 4020 900kv, but that was easy. Very nice heli and looks awesome. Now I want to get an IL Goblin 700 KSE.
