FASSTEST SYSTEM:
The Futaba 16IZS transmitter adopted the bidirectional communication system FASSTest. Data from the receiver can be checked in your transmitter. FASSTest is a maximum 18 channels (linear 16 channels + switch 2 channels) 2.4 GHz dedicated system.

S.BUS2 SYSTEM:
By using the S.Bus2 system multiple servos, gyros and telemetry sensors are easily installed with a minimum amount of cables.

USB SIMULATOR CONTROL:
The T16IZS offers USB C compatibility for simulator control when used with Windows OS Joystick function.

COLOR TOUCH SCREEN LCD:
T16IZS has an updated HVGA 4.3 inch, full-color backlit LCD touch screen. The screen is transflective which enables both indoor and outdoor visibility.

MULTI HOLDER:
T16IZS Offers Multi holder near the antenna/charging port. It allows for accessories to be mounted using an M3 style screw.

Voice Telemetry:
The Futaba T16IZS transmitter allows for audible telemetry data to be read aloud for easy understanding of crucial parameters while flying.

SECURE DATA (SD CARD):
Model data files can be stored on optional microSD card. The microSD card is also used when updating the software/features of the T16IZS.

HIGH CAPACITY LITHIUM POLYMER BATTERY (2000 MAH):
The high capacity 2S Lithium Polymer battery gives you extended flight time.

EDITING:
The touch panel and two enter keys allows you to edit your model in the manner that is easiest for you.

FUNCTIONS:
The internal processor the response time. Most of the mixing functions are operated by curves which give you very precise settings.

STICK:
Each stick offers our reliable single ball bearing for each axis. With our high cycle potentiometer this allows for finer and more precise operation.

VIBRATION FUNCTION:
Low voltage and other alarms are generated by a vibration motor. Alarms or vibrations to be used can be selected by the owner.

First, awesome purchase thru HeliDirect with fast free shipping. Second, great radio with impressive construction and layout. Third, pleased with all the options and endless adjustment with the ability to set up servos and gyros thru the transmitter. The last is a plus and also a minus. I found the directions not very clear and quite confusing. My last advanced radio was 20 years ago so much of that is on me. Friends and the inter web are quite useful in deciphering this amazing system. Would be a 5+ star review if the instructions were better and time was spent flying instead of watching YouTube to figure some menus and settings out.

Purchased this to replace a Futaba 9CHP as I'm getting back into the hobby. Typical excellent Futaba quality...So far I'm very happy with the upgrade! As has been my experience, it takes a bit to navigate the menus and the manual.

I have the 16IZ but I buy this new to upgrade to the new 16IZS, have few differences with the past model, Futaba always make good radios with very strong and quality signal, but need work a bit in the plastics and finish of they radios, need to be better finished, but in electronic quality are goods one of the Best of the market

I've owned several Futaba transmitters over the last 20 years. The ever changing technology caused me to update once again. After receiving and setting my transmitter up, I am pleased with the transmitter except for one thing.....it took some doing to get comfortable with the menus and programming of the radio. I spent a couple hours working with it before it made sense to me. Now that I've had the chance to use it, I find it to be pretty manageable. The size of the radio is very similar to the 14MZ I've owned for several years.

I initially paired the radio with a Goosky S2. The binding process was very quick and the size and layout are a big improvement over the Goosky transmitter.
