I decided to get this kit after I saw my buddy fly his..This is an awesome heli all the way around! The build quality is excellent, and it was pretty easy and straightforward to build. This isn’t my first 380 size Heli, but it’s my first build/new kit. I had a TB40 and 3 Oxy 4 max’s that I had bought used, and a Trex 450L ARTF that came assembled.. this is probably the lightest 380 I’ve had yet! It looks and feels much bigger than it is! It’s significantly lighter than my Oxy4 max, and a lot lighter than the TB40. This heli has a very light floaty feel to it! I put the Xdfly 85a esc and paired that with the steam 3220 1000kv motor(made for the Ak420.. it has plenty of power with this set up! I’m currently running RT ultimate 385mm on it, want to try 420’s eventually.. the 85a esc fits in this heli like a glove! No mods needed! The drive train on this thing is whisper quiet, almost all you can hear when it’s flying is the blades! I fit the tail with 71mm rotortechs, the 72mm RT blade’s wouldn’t fit the factory blade grips because the hole is too big, get the 71mm RT blade’s and they fit this machine perfectly. It ended up coming with a different canopy than the one in the stock photo. The one it came with was my favorite color scheme they make for this machine, and it’s absolutely gorgeous!! I’m running this with the stretch boom and 1-1 swash that it comes with.. the swash and stretch kit come in addition to the factory ones that come with the kit, so you end up with an extra swash, and 380 length boom, belt and control rod. So right off the rip you have spare parts with this kit! If you’re thinking about it,just do it! This heli will be staying in the fleet for a long time!!
