Refresh and refine, T-REX 500X adapt with brand new FL rotor head system, utilizes an extremely low CG design which reduces resistance during 3D maneuvers while increasing flight responsiveness and precision. A progressive design adds a gloss silver and red anodizing appearance which continue our quality development based on our 700 class helicopter. The T-REX 500X main frame utilizes composite material integration technology on carbon side frame plates, including the addition of battery mounting side rails, and a top motor mount design. Innovative adjustable belt guide pulley, allows a convenient way to adjust the belt tension by releasing or tightening the screw. The screw is used to maintain optimal belt tension over time to keep the best. Also T-REX 500X landing skid is tilted 5 degrees forward to improve crashworthiness.
T-REX 500X utilizes 470mm main blades and 520MX(1600KV/3527) motor with 20% power upgrades than the original 1600KV/3225 motor. The latest new RCE-BL80X Brushless ESC support dual BEC output from 6 ~ 8.4V providing efficient and superior power. The NEW DS530M/DS535M digital servos are with extreme torque and speed response allow to support faster, more precise and accurate flight performance.

Brand new CNC metal reinforcement plate and brace compare with frame mounting bolt effectively increase the torsional stength of main frame, under extreme 3D maneuver, you can strongly feel its solid reinforcement from its structure. Carbon fiber side frame plates are manufactured using a proprietary composite material integration technology which integrates the battery mounting rails into the frame. This unique use of open spaces within the frame creates a rigid frame and is aesthetically pleasing.
An additional 3rd main shaft bearing block increases the strength of the main frame while improving 3D flight.
RCE-BL80X is specially designed for T-REX 500X providing higher currency output and support for high voltage servos with an internal BEC output from 6V to 8.4V which can be set up based on servo specification.
Brand new latching battery tray which utilizes integrated mounting rails inside the frames to simplify insertion / removal of battery while providing protection for the battery.
DS530 HV Cyclic and DS535 HV Rudder servos support up to 8.4V for superior responsiveness, extreme torque, and improved performance.

The helicopter is just as described I have build it with ease no issues had a little trouble with the mirobeast can't get the tail gain set but it's my first one so it my take some time other that that trex 500 is great. Thanks

The kit was fantastic the only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was cause the kit was missing a few servo screws.
After much internal debate I finally decided to pull the trigger on the Align 500X. Having built and flown nothing larger than a 450. I can say that this kit goes together extremely well. It was a pleasure to build and extremely pleasing to fly! A few notes on the build. First, Loctite absolutely any screw and goes into metal. Secondly, take apart all pre-assembled components and Lube where the manual suggests and Loctite. As no assembled components have any sort of threadlocker. I was amazed on the first test hover just how locked in this machine feels. It will almost hands-off hover in place. If you're looking to step up. I highly recommend this kit.
Lowest price for my purchase of the Align 500x was here! Align's are great heli's. You always get a lot for your money. The BeastX alone is $150!
I needed a bigger heli so got this Trex500X combo. I cant be more pleased. I now have a 470L and 500X. Quality is second to none. You get a lot for the money. Plus I got this labor day weekend so it was 10%off. Bargain!
This went together easily without much trouble. It flies great and the size is a good compromise between 450 and 550/600 helis. Unfortunately the canopy in my kit was damaged but no worries since Helidirect took care of it and sent me a new replacement canopy. Thank you Helidirect!
great quality helicopter
Instructions and quality are typical Align. I gave it only four stars because the canopy is thin, cracks easily and is difficult to install. This was my first flybarless model so the learning curve was a bit steep. Setup normally done on the transmitter is now done on 14 different menus in the BeastX flight unit. I don't bash these models around in the sky like some do. All I can say is it flies about the same as I'm used to and it's just as easy to mess up.
Very high quality kit, fun to build.
