RAW 500 Issue with Tail Tensioner

Hi,

I purchased this Heli around 2 months ago. Have about 50 flights on it with no issues other then a tail wag that seems to be improving. This weekend the Tail Belt decided to slip off the tail tensioner. The tension is perfect to the manual so 0 degrees. Anyway i went back and forth on this loosening and tightening and all made no difference with every flight finding the belt slipped off.

Upon reaching out to the experts they said there are reports from other customers with this issue. They are saying the tensioner from either an overly tight belt(mine wasn't) or crash(mine wasn't) can deform the tensioner. When I pulled out the tensioner it has play as well as it looked a bit bent. I was told to either replace the tensioner or replace the tensioner with a fixed idler just like it has on the other side. Probably need to replace the tail belt as well since falling off and rubbing across. It actually cut thru the metal a bit.

In looking back my tail belt tension did seem tighter then I normally run but i followed the manual which said to keep it at 0 degrees.

Bottom Line is this is a design flaw and shouldn't have happened. I have all the other raw helicopters and other helis and never had a belt slip off. I can understand if the tensioner was very loose but it definately wasn't.

I feel SAB is coming out with new Helis way too fast lately without further testing. I also had an issue with the raw 420 and the washout arms developing alot of play early on.

Other then this I like this heli alot. Flies great, the quick release system and the permanant canopy are awesome. The orange canopy looks great.
But for what happened i have to only give it 3 stars.
